News, events and schools' information for families across Bristol

Local Bristol charity Young Bristol, will be delivering free Holiday Clubs during the daytime throughout the summer holidays, thanks to funding from Bristol City Council’s Your Holiday Hub programme.

One of Bristol’s leading youth charities, Young Bristol, is providing critical out-of-school opportunities for children and young people in communities across the city. The charity offers community-based youth services through its community youth club network, and is a valued provider of outdoor activities, mobile youth services, creative arts, outdoor employment, and informal educational programmes for young people.

Young Bristol’s Holiday Clubs based at the charities Community Youth Club in Bristol, will support young people ages 8 – 12 years old during the school holidays, with a focus on those who receive free school meals. The free programmes will include activities, a free prepared meal and drink, and the opportunity for young people to socialise and have fun with their friends.

The Holiday Club programme will launch on Thursday 22 July, with sessions taking place up to Friday 3 September.
