News, events and schools' information for families across Bristol

As part of North-West Bristol Arts Trail, Christ Church C of E Primary School, Clifton is running a free Art Workshop inspired by the city of Bristol.

The ‘Bristol at the Heart of our Art’ drop-in workshop will run over the weekend of Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th October, 11am-4pm, and will offer children under 5 the opportunity to be inspired by the art, architecture and music of Bristol, whilst discovering more about the artists who capture it.

Parents are invited to enjoy cake and refreshments whilst visiting the school’s own Art Exhibition and exploring Christchurch Primary’s inspiring architecture.

Situated at the bustling heart of Clifton Village, the school was transformed in 2014 when it was substantially extended and refurbished.

“It is so exciting to be able to open our school doors to our local community after so long,” said Headteacher Clare Jones. “The pandemic has taught us many things, but the North-West Bristol Arts Trail is a wonderful way to bring us all back together and inspire a new generation of artists.”
