This summer, Dome Club visits Bristol with a range of immersive dome experiences, including planetarium shows for children and families and a choice of unique 360° Pink Floyd psychedelic shows.
The programme takes place at Arnos Vale on 4 and 13 August and at St Werburghs Community Centre on 7 and 9 August 2022.
The unique immersive experiences will be delivered in an inflatable seven metre dome with limited capacity, so be sure to book your tickets early!
PLANETARIUM SHOWS
The Planetarium Shows allow families to immerse themselves in space with educational events led by science educator Mario Di Maggio. You’ll enjoy a guided tour of the current night sky, travel to the International Space Station, zoom across the Solar System in the future and handle a famous meteorite from outer space. Children under seven will learn how to find star patterns in the night sky, travel into space to see what astronauts do and learn about space shapes that are round.
“We’re really looking forward to bringing our immersive dome events to Bristol,” said Mario. “With learning and entertainment all under one dome, there’s something for everyone.
“In addition to the all-encompassing 360˚experience, what’s really powerful about domes is how people find a sense of community due to the shared multi-sensory experience. Parents and children enjoy inspirational learning experiences, while music lovers experience their favourite artists as never before.”
