Just One Tree Day
An international non-uniform day where children are encouraged to bring in £1 to plant a tree and help reforest the planet. The fundraising day has been established to show children and young people how individual actions can make a difference against the climate and biodiversity crises. For every £1 raised, a tree is planted.
The event is open to primary and secondary schools, who can sign up here. Those taking part can access free lesson resources that fit in with the national curriculum – as part of their fundraising activities, children learn about photosynthesis, the benefits of trees for both people and wildlife and the vital role they play in reducing the impacts of climate change.
