News, events and schools' information for families across Bristol

Bristol Aquarium is launching a number of evening activities, including a spooky Halloween tour on 28 October that is perfect for some after dark family fun!

The spooky tours will take place in hour long slots from 5.40 to 7.40pm, with scares, stories and torches all to be expected. The event includes an evening Aquarium experience led by actors trained to take visitors on a dramatic experience around Bristol Aquarium.

Simon Hubbard, Deputy General Manager at Bristol Aquarium explained, “We are very excited to start our evening events, it gives our visitors a very different underwater experience in the dark. It also opens Bristol Aquarium up to different audiences in the form of working professionals, romantic couples on a date night and university students”.

Also coming up is a fancy dress competition and scary fish tales leading up to Halloween.  In November Bristol Aquarium will be running a pub quiz, with question subjects including general knowledge, sport and marine life among others.
