Following last week’s successful A-Level results day, IKB Academy in Keynsham has been delighted to see so many students and their families celebrating their results at IKB today.
Pete Headeach, Head of School said, “At IKB, we are incredibly proud of our students and the determination, resilience and hard work they have demonstrated. They fully deserve the results that they have achieved today.
“It was a delight to share in these celebrations and confirm their enrolment into the Sixth Form. As a small school, we get to know our students incredibly well and we are thrilled to see so many of them continue their education with us.”
Among the students who have made outstanding progress through year 10 and 11are:
- Jess – Four grade 9s, two grade 8s, two grade 7s
- Ben – one grade 9, one grade 8, two grade 7s
- Grace – one grade 8, five grade 7s
- Harvey – five grade 7s, three grade 6s
- Emily –, one grade 8, four grade 7s, Level 2 Distinction
- Oliver – four grade 7s and a level 2 Distinction
- Liam – one grade 8 and five grade 7s.
“The Sixth Form offers the outstanding support and personal care of a small organisation where students really are treated as individuals within the larger Futura Sixth Form, giving access to over 40 different courses across 3 centres,” added Pete. “Applications for September 2024 and September 2025 can be made via our website.”
