A festival of street painting from 100 artists (5-25 May) followed by the main festival taking over Greville Smyth Park from (28-29 May) for the first ‘green field’ festival. The boards and canvases will be brought together in the park, as well as Ashton Gate Stadium, and The Tobacco Factory.

Celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with a traditional teddy bear’s picnic and a Bear-themed treat from the catering outlets. Play traditional garden games with your friends and family on our picnic lawn. Visit the Andean Adventures exhibit to discover facts about the bears and watch exclusive ‘bear cam’ footage of the twin Andean Bear cubs. There will also be opportunities to find out more about the bears with daily keeper talks.

To celebrate the 256th birthday, a fun, free, inclusive family day jam-packed with creative and hands-on activities and opportunity to explore the historic theatre. In addition, there will be guided tours, singing workshops, crafting space to design your own dream party outfit using upcycled materials, a Silver Coin activity trail around the building, and dress-up as characters from past Bristol Old Vic productions.
