This December, Aerospace Bristol is inviting the public to celebrate the festive season with a series of unique and immersive Christmas events, combining festive traditions with the museum’s aerospace heritage.

A Journey to the Stars in the Christmas Planetarium

7th, 8th, 14th & 15th December

Aerospace Bristol is thrilled to announce festive planetarium shows in partnership with Dome Club Planetarium, featuring the Christmas Star: Live Planetarium Presentation and the Holy Star 360° Film.

During The Christmas Star: Live Planetarium Presentation visitors will explore winter constellations and uncover the mystery of the Star of Bethlehem.

The Holy Star 360° Film takes audiences on a stunning visual journey, revealing over 1,300 stars and the Milky Way, before exploring the mysteries surrounding the Star of Bethlehem.

Visit The Christmas Workshop in the Bristol Freighter

1st – 23rd December

Step into Aerospace Bristol’s Christmas Workshop, set within the historic Conservation Hangar. Visitors can hop aboard a real Bristol Freighter for an imaginary flight to the North Pole, where they can send their Christmas wish lists straight to Santa.

Carols under Concorde with Concord Church

Sunday, 15th December

On Sunday, 15th December, Concord Church will host its annual carol service alongside the last Concorde ever to fly. This free community event welcomes attendees of all ages and promises a heart-warming evening filled with festive music and cheer.

Guests can enjoy seasonal treats, including mince pies and mulled wine, available for purchase from the museum café. Children will also have the opportunity to engage in festive crafts during the event.

Find Your Perfect Christmas tree from Frenchay Forestry

Frenchay Forestry will be selling their beautiful Christmas trees in the Aerospace Bristol car park again this year, starting on 20th November.

As a special offer, anyone who purchases a Christmas tree can claim 15% off anything in the gift shop when they show their Frenchay Forestry receipt. Similarly, those who shop in the gift store can enjoy 10% off their Christmas tree by presenting their gift shop receipt.
