Ashton Park School sixth form students in Bristol can be justifiably proud of their hard work as they received an excellent set of grades for their A-Level and A-Level equivalent BTEC results
Over a quarter of all A-Level results were awarded the top grades of A*-A and 67.2% were graded A* – C or equivalent. The vast majority of the higher education applicants secured places at their first choice university, with the remaining applicants either taking up offers with their insurance choice or through the clearing process.
Richard Uffendell, Headtecher of Ashton Park School said, “Our students continue to make us very proud here at Ashton Park. This group of students have experienced some real challenges in their educational journey and they should be proud of not only what they have achieved academically, but also by being well-rounded, kind and happy individuals.
“Our young people will continue to make the world a better place and I look forward to the impact they have as adults moving forward. We have shown ourselves to be a fully inclusive sixth form provision and we have a bright future ahead”.
The Head of Sixth Form, Rowena Hector, added, “We are extremely proud of this cohort of students who have shown great resilience and determination throughout what has been a very challenging time in education. The results this year are a testament to their hard work and we wish them every success as they prepare for the next chapter in their lives”.
