Adapted from the Indian folktale ‘Andher Nagari’ (City of Chaos) by Bharatendu Harishchandra and ‘The Emperor’s New Clothes’ by Hans Christian Andersen, this is a play about the madcap adventures of two sisters who escape their city, unable to bear the despotic nature of their ruler, and chance upon a city where everything sells for a penny.
Suitable for ages 8+ years.
