Special characters: Friday 29th March to Monday 1st April (Easter Weekend) & Friday 5th April to Monday 8th April

From actors bringing historic characters to life to real-life experts sharing their aerospace achievements, don’t miss your chance to Meet History at Aerospace Bristol.

Throughout the Easter weekend (29 Mar-1 Apr), and again from 5-8 April, the characters available to meet will be George Henry Challenger, designer of the Bristol Boxkite, and Olga Lehmann, an artist who painted incredible murals in underground factories.

You’ll also have the chance to meet real-life people who achieved great things in their aerospace careers, from Concorde engineers to rocket scientists!

These remarkable people – including museum volunteers and people instrumental in establishing Aerospace Bristol’s collection – will be sharing their fascinating stories and important contributions to the world of aerospace.

Help Create a Mega Mural!

Daily. Included with museum admission.

As well as finding out more about the life of Olga Lehmann – one of the historical figures who will be brought to life at the museum this Easter – you can also step into her shoes by grabbing a pen and helping to design a huge new mural for the museum.

Once completed, the mural will go on display in the school lunch space to brighten up the area for visiting school groups.

A squadron of Pedal Planes for under-5s will be landing at Aerospace Bristol on the 2nd, 3rd & 4th April, including a Bristol Freighter, Spitfire, Tiger Moth and Hawk Trainer.
