Symphony of the World at St George’s
Children from three local schools, a community poetry group, professional musicians from a variety of backgrounds and tutors from the Preludes Music produce a piece of music with four sections, each one written by each group of participants from the local community. A musical journey across the globe, celebrating the wonderfully diverse communities and musical traditions in Bristol. The concert will also feature performances by Bristol Reggae Orchestra, Troyka, and the Bristol Ensemble with Kora player Mamadou Cissokho.

Preludes & Cosmos Choir at St George’s
Two great local music projects for primary schools – St George’s ‘Cosmos Choir’ and Bristol Ensemble’s ‘Preludes’ – combine forces for a fabulously festive lunchtime of high-spirited singing! Admission is free with a retiring collection to support the continuation of these projects.

Support the Lord Mayor of Bristol’s Childrens Appeal with an evening of joyous and uplifting entertainment with music from Bold Brass, The Bristol Show Choir, Blackbird Children’s choir and plenty of audience participation. Money raised will go to help the city’s most disadvantaged children and young people at Christmas.

Interactive family-friendly carnival hosted by West End singer and actor Kat Kleve offering a fun introduction to all the instruments in the orchestra, showcasing their magic through a performance of Howard Blake’s The Snowman, narrated by John Telfer (The Archers), and conducted by Roger Huckle.
