Christ Church Clifton CofE Primary School in Bristol now has spaces available for the start of the September 2021 and 2022 terms.
Situated at the heart of Clifton village, the state-of-the-art primary school is ideally placed to offer its pupils a rich and varied curriculum. Just a stone’s throw from the Downs, Brunel’s Suspension Bridge, Bristol Zoo and some incredible Bristol museums, the school offers what it describes as private school facilities in a state-maintained setting.
”Five years ago, we were privileged to oversee a £4million rebuild to our school site,” explained Headteacher Claire Jones. “As a result, we saw pupil numbers swell and we grew our school to two form entry to support local capacity for school places in Bristol. However, with the Covid pandemic having caused many of our families to understandably relocate to their families abroad, we are now able to welcome new children into our Christ Church School community.”
The latest SIAMS Church School inspection rated Christ Church Clifton as OUTSTANDING, following a 2017 OFSTED GOOD rating that stated, ‘Staff across the school exude a passion and a confidence to make sure that every pupil can shine and succeed in something that they enjoy… parents speak very positively about their children’s experiences here, describing the good progress and strong attitudes to learning that their children are developing.’
The school has consistently performed well above the national average across the board in reading, writing and maths, and School Guide UK also recently awarded the school four stars, with a happiness rating of 96% (based on Ofsted Parent View data).
