BBC Radio Bristol Breakfast presenter James Hanson visited Begbrook Primary Academy recently for his weekly slot The Kids V The News.
James visits a different local primary school each week to interview pupils about events and topical issues, for a piece that airs on his Breakfast Show.
James discussed a range of topics which have aired on his Breakfast Show this week with pupils from Year 3 and 4. He asked what do you think of beards, do you have an annoying brother or sister and would you like to be a movie star? The recording was broadcast on his show twice the next morning at 0655 and 0825.
Laura Horner, Begbrook’s Assistant Principal, said, “They were a great bunch of children who had strong opinions and hilarious ideas about the topics raised! I would also like to thank James for visiting us here at Begbrook Academy.”
