The world’s first Amazement Park, Wake The Tiger’s recent tease at mind-bending expansion plans has today been confirmed as a brand new level of the revolutionary art walk-through experience.
Complete with new rooms, new installations and new areas, the opening date of the whole new dimension of the award-winning experience has been announced as Friday 2nd February 2024, or 02.02.24.
In spirituality, 02.02 is an ‘angel number’ symbolic of changes and new beginnings – and serves as a reminder that possibilities in the future should always be embraced. As such, the re-opening date is symbolic of a new phase for Wake The Tiger as well as the alternate world of Meridia.
Teasing at the creation of the new dimension, Luke Mitchell, Creative Director at Wake The Tiger, said, “The new expansion will be a beautiful journey of self-discovery and joy, challenging you to look beyond your own limits and explore alternative ways of thinking, living and thriving. It is possible to slide back to The Dream Factory, but how this is done is down to the journey your mind chooses to take. Can the alternate world of Meridia finally be saved?”
With more than 250,000 visitors entering The Dream Factory since Wake The Tiger’s inception in Summer 2022, the experience has seen many return again and again to immerse themselves in its 30 creative environments – and now there will be even more reasons to return.
Whilst the expansion is well underway, the experience has a ton going on this side of Christmas, including four new Funga trails to explore and adult-only Festive After Hours for those looking for an out-of-this-world mate, date or team night of fun.
It is also Moonfrost season in Meridia, which the Meridians celebrate by sending Moonbeams to their loved ones; a seasonal wish showing their appreciation and love. Bristol and beyond are invited to join in on these Meridian festivities, by picking up a postcard and writing a moonbeam of their very own this Moonfrost season.
New for 2024, gift vouchers are also now on sale at https://tickets.wakethetiger.com/book as well as 2024 annual memberships, which start from £29.00 – offering unbeatable value for money for repeat visits. This new annual membership will include unlimited access to the experience, discounts on food, drink and merchandise, as well as the option to bring a friend for free on member birthdays as well as early bird access to special events.
Those purchasing memberships before 31 December will receive a 10% discount.
