Christ Church C of E Primary School in Bristol is celebrating an Outstanding report from Ofsted.
In a letter to parents and carers, Charlotte Withers, Chair of Governors at Christ Church Primary, commented, “This tremendous achievement signifies that, throughout their two-day inspection, every aspect the school inspectors considered (Quality of education, Behaviour and attitudes, Personal development, Leadership and Management, Early Years Provision) has been judged as outstanding and no areas for improvement have been formally identified.
“The inspectors praised the ‘exceptional curriculum’, across each year group, which is testimony to the consistent hard work of each member of staff to provide a stimulating and aspirational learning experience. In the report, it was recognised that ‘staff care deeply for pupils’ and their dedication to making a difference ensures that ‘pupils flourish at this happy and nurturing school’.
“Christ Church School is recognised as having a culture of inclusivity where all pupils, including those with SEND, are eager to come to school each day. The report is a joyous reflection of the hard work, dedication, and collaboration of everyone involved – staff, children, parents, carers and governors alike. It is a testament to the vibrant, inclusive, and nurturing environment we have collectively created, where our children can thrive.
“Recognition must go to Mrs Clare Jones, who gave 11 years of service to Christ Church School as Headteacher, for her diligent work and relentless determination to give each child the very best provision.
“While this achievement is certainly a cause for celebration, it also motivates us to continue striving for excellence in everything we do. Our newly appointed Headteacher, Mr Mark Oldfield, is committed to maintaining the high standards that have led to this outstanding recognition and to continually seek ways to improve the educational experience for all children. I am confident that under his skilful leadership Christ Church School will continue to exceed expectations.”
